Photos can be added to a harvest, to a bag entry, or straight to the hunt itself. Pick several at once if you want.
The first photo on a harvest is what you see on its card, so put your best picture first.
Every hunt shows a gallery that gathers the photos recorded against the hunt and against its harvests and bag entries — you never have to file the same picture twice. Tap any photo to open it full screen and swipe between them.
Each image is re-encoded on your device before it is uploaded, which drops the hidden data cameras attach, including GPS coordinates, timestamps and camera details. Only the processed image is stored, in private storage that is not publicly reachable.
If one photo fails, the rest of the batch and the harvest itself are still saved. Pocket PH tells you which file failed so you can add it again. A photo that cannot be re-encoded is refused rather than uploaded as-is.
Photos are archived rather than deleted, so removing one from a gallery does not destroy the record.
