Ballistics
The flow is short: pick a saved ballistic profile, enter your range and conditions, calculate, then read the result — elevation, wind, remaining velocity, energy and the trajectory behind them. Corrections are shown the way you dial them, not as raw drop.
Wind is entered as the direction the wind is coming from, on a clock face: 3 o'clock is a full value wind from your right, 12 o'clock is straight into your face.
From a result you can build a DOPE table across a range of distances, or save a field card for that solution.
A saved profile calculates from your stored setup, load and zero, so the answer reflects the rifle you actually shoot.
Quick and what-if runs are for experimenting — a colder morning, a stiffer wind, a different range. They are not saved as profiles and leave no record behind.
The solver is deterministic: the same inputs always give the same answer. Ask PH does not produce firing solutions — ask it for a correction and it points you here.
This is a calculation aid, not a promise of where the bullet lands. Confirm your setup on the range and true your data before you rely on it in the field.
